Creating major changes in people’s behavior requires time and persistence. As we know, long-term and strategic brand building does not happen overnight. For us, it is important to ensure that we deliver in line with both past campaigns and straight to the soul of the brand. That is why we are particularly proud to be part of the campaign that Nyköping municipality started back in 2001 – then under the name “Bo i Nyköping” – a campaign that still attracts people to our own hometown.
Today, the campaign’s unmistakable imagery reflects ‘New Town life’; a simpler life where work and leisure go hand in hand. Under our auspices, the campaign has both returned to its roots and evolved. Sometimes it takes the form of painting the world’s longest hopscotch in Nyköping harbour, and sometimes it fills the metro with calls to leave the stress of the big city behind. We have reintroduced playful imagery but linked it to relevant content with new Nyköping residents at the center.
